365 Q&A #49: Run to the Nearest Bookshelf!

This one was fun as this writing prompt forced me to use a bookshelf that was not my own. I highly recommend giving this writing prompt a try, especially at a public library where the possibilities are endless. :

Go to the edge of a bookshelf, count seven books in, and take that one out. Open it to the page seven and count the seventh sentence on that page. Write a poem that starts with something from that sentence.

He died that day. However, a new light was born. One stronger and brighter than the one before. Ready to take on the evil in this world.

Death ripens our wisdom and enriches our life. Not death of a person or pet per say, but the death of a part of ourselves. We must kill that part of ourselves in order to rise above the ashes; to become the version of ourselves we wish to be. Death is necessary in order to become a new.
