ABOUT ME

S.M. is a freelance artist in the media, film and television industry. She has been a creative writer for as long as she can remember but has really found her niche in television and poetry writing. Most of her work is set in a fantastical world but grounded in real-world issues and experiences that she’s encountered in life. All of Stephanie’s pieces convey important messages and address difficult topics. Two of her current projects are excellent examples of this. She recently published a poetry collection "Hold On Til Morning", that focuses on mental health awareness and is currently scribing a feature length science fiction movie that tackles some of the real-world issues we have today (unjust criminal justice system and socioeconomic issues). Her work captures raw emotion and expresses it in a way that her audience not only finds relatable but helpful and cathartic; something that is truly important to her and the reason she fell in love with the arts in the first place.

Outside of writing S.M. is an avid softball player, swordfighter, cosplayer, reader, comic book lover and abstract painter.
