Today's writing prompt really struck a chord with me. This question happened to be the second one in my 365 journey. It goes:
If you had to build a diorama that represented your interior world, what would people see when peering inside?
Day 2 and this journal already has me digging deep. I actually ran out of room on the page writing so feverishly that my pen could barely keep up.
Someone with demons who creep upon her. They would also see some who is scared, lonely, sometimes depressed, happy, confused and always questioning the world around her. They would also see someone who watches other intently trying to learn about them through minor details like how they comb through their hair when they are nervous, they way their face flushes when someone they like talks to them or how their eyes dart when they tell a lie. They would also see a young child filled with wonder and curiosity about the world. An explorer of sorts. Behind that child is a warrior warding off demons and her darkest thoughts on a daily basis, as well as a creative with countless stories and characters begging to break the surface.
What does your interior world look like? Let me know in the comments!
